A quarter of a decade ago a girl was born in a remote village in Serbia without a mustache, she was the first woman in her family to be born in such a way. Banished from his people, and his kind Zoritsa leaves a lonely life, fall in love with men who die soon after. But after meeting a witch, she returns home to the tomb of Pavle burn to get rid of this terrible curse without love.

When shooting a movie in his head in Serbia you usually get a certain vision in his mind of what is likely to be. Loveless challenge your expectations Zoritsa normal, is a professional film, the future is bright and has all the features of the work of Tim Burton during the 80s and 90s. The scenes shot at night are beautifully framed and incredibly atmospheric shots during the day to show a world that just want to party. Even the opening credits sequence plays like a big Hollywood blockbuster, a vision in which the flames caused by fire in the back of the Zoritsa dress as she flees the scene of his grave Pavle. It is a visually stunning film at all, rock romantic environments, tunnels and breathtaking scenarios magnificent lakes, part of the greatest filmmakers of Hollywood.

The film is very much a genre bending horror aspects, hysterical comedy, a form of gothic fairytale. Is this a clever manipulation that keeps the audience spellbound.

The image we see in the film is also an interesting question, we have the typical stereotype of a Serbian village, with people dressed in costumes timeless, made by the wife of the typical matriarchal, with chickens, tractors and donkey as the only vehicle. But later, in stark contrast to the characters enter the Witches "hut", which includes the latest computer technology, and a TV screen on the wall. This is a film that is not afraid to laugh at himself or the country in which you live, and hunt typical vehicle with a battered old bicycle motor, and a tractor, struggling to hit the other side of the road.

The film is full of very famous actors, if you are familiar with Serbian cinema, with award-winning artists as Mihailo 'Misa' Odanovic Janketic and Olga. But it is the first actress Ljuma Penov, who directs the film Zorica (Serbian translation), the actress is beautiful and amazing artist, and you look, you can not help comparing it with a young Carrie Fisher.
Zoritsa Loveless is an amazing piece of cinema and directed by Christina Hatziharalabous Radoslav Pavkovic, and you can not deny that it has its flaws (ie, the ending was very predictable), but as a piece of European cinema the lessor known areas (although a European collaboration), nothing visually shots I've seen in the area out of the water.
