Movie Plot:
A nurse goes to save his little son of a supernatural figure who was apparently deprive children of a depressed mining town in this horror story pessimistic Martyrs director Pascal Laugier. For years, a mysterious entity known as the Tall Man was kidnapped children from Cold Rock. The transfer time is never seen again. Once a prosperous mining town, Cold Rock fell into disrepair, but a local nurse Julia (Jessica Biel) writes rumors elusive man Alto as a local superstition. Then, one night, to his horror, Julia wakes up to find his son David into the arms of spectral figure who steals the boy in the dark. Now, Julia keeps looking until David is back safe in his arms, and the truth about the missing children cold rock finally revealed.
Story line:
When her child goes missing, a mother looks to unravel the legend of the Tall Man, an entity who allegedly abducts children.....This film is about a legend that has been started by the town folk of Cold Rock. Since the children in the town have been going missing, people have said it's an entity known as 'The Tall Man' who has been taking them. Julia Denning ('Jessica Beil' ) is the local nurse who's husband died years earlier. She is soon personally involved as her child is taken. She tries to track down where the child is taken to, but then she finds that there's more to what's happening than she knew. The towns folk start to turn on her and the truth comes out. But there's still more to the story... Who is 'The Tall Man'? And what is the truth?
