'90s TV Stars Reunite: See What They Look Like Now!

'90s TV Stars Reunite: See What They Look Like Now!

The casts of "Party of Five," "My So-Called Life," and "Boy Meets World" descended upon Austin, Texas, for the ATX Television Festival last week, where they dished on potential resurrections, being together again, and memorable moments from their series. — Chrissy Le Nguyen, Yahoo! TV

"Party of Five"

The critically loved but low-rated drama about the struggles of the Salinger siblings ran for six seasons on Fox and took home a Golden Globe award for best drama in 1996. The series launched the careers of its main stars, Matthew Fox (Charlie), Scott Wolf (Bailey), Neve Campbell (Julia), Lacey Chabert (Claudia), and Jennifer Love Hewitt (Sarah), and also starred Paula Devicq (Kirsten), Jeremy London (Griffin), Scott Grimes (Will), Jennifer Aspen (Daphne), and Wilson Cruz (Victor), who joined the show during its final season.

Will there be a "Party of Five" reunion movie?
The reunited cast members all agreed that it'd be great to be in the company of everyone who worked on "Party of Five" again, but the show just doesn't lend itself, storywise, to a movie in the same vein as the "Veronica Mars" Kickstarter project. "I don't think anybody wants to see a bunch of 40-year-olds crying about their parents not being around," Wolf toldWetpaint
Where would Bailey and Kristen be today?
Wolf was hopeful that Bailey is living an easier life without all the challenges and turmoil he endured in the past. Keyser assured Wolf that Bailey is happy. Devicq wondered about her character's pregnancy. Keyser confirmed that Kristen's pregnancy went perfectly fine and the baby was named after Charlie's mother.
"My So-Called Life"

The canceled-way-too-soon ABC drama ran for only one season but is still praised to this day as one of television's best shows. The teen cast included Claire Danes (Angela), Jared Leto (Jordan), Devon Odessa (Sharon), Wilson Cruz (Rickie), Devon Gummersall (Brian), and A.J. Langer (Rayanne Graff). Bess Armstrong played Angela's mom, Patty.

Eighteen years later, and "My So-Called Life" is still loved by fans. Why is that?
Cruz replied, "We could change the clothes and hair and music, but the stories and the journey for self-identity never changes."

On playing a gay teen on TV: Cruz admitted that he wasn't aware of the effect his role as Rickie would have because most of the episodes were filmed before the show aired, but he did feel a great sense of responsibility taking on the part and is proud of his work.
"Boy Meets World"

By now you've heard all about the "Boy Meets World" reunion, which was the ATX Television Festival's most popular event this year. If you haven't, you can get all the details from our full report, including details on Topanga's tattoo, what the actress who played Morgan No. 1 has been up to since leaving the show (hint: It involves bagpipes), and how Mr. Feeny pops up on the spinoff "Girl Meets World."
The "Boy Meets World" cast came together Friday in Austin, Texas, at the 2nd annual ATX Television Festival for the series' first-ever reunion since the show wrapped its seven-season run in 2000. Yes, you're doing your math correctly, it's been 13 years!
A sold-out theatre of 300 fans was treated to a screening of the series finale before the cast and show creator Michael Jacobs came onstage for a panel discussion. It was nearly impossible to watch that final episode without feeling a pang of nostalgia for the family-friendly TGIF TV fare of the '90s. During "BMW's" very last scene where the kids are saying their goodbyes to Mr. Feeny, sniffles and "awwws" were audible throughout the aisles. We're pretty sure there wasn't a single dry eye in the room when the screening concluded.
"We did that last scene in one take because we were all just wrecked," Rider Strong (Shawn Hunter) revealed. "It was our last scene in front of an audience. It was so close to home that there was no filter between Shawn and Rider at that point. It was the same person freaking out."
"It was almost like saying goodbye to our childhood," Ben Savage (Cory Matthews) said. "It's hard for me to even watch that scene. That was kind of like the end of our childhood. It wasn't just the end of our show. For us personally, it really meant a lot."
