On Childhood Fantasies: Those Mythological Creatures
There are books out on the various mythological creatures that are associated with certain nation states like the leprechaun is with Ireland and there has been the market to exploit on the other hand. One only has to think of stories like Peter Pan to understand how fantasy has a pace in the living room and in the heart of child that wants to believe. At the same token there are some bizarre types who profit on ideas meant to destroy the world of fantasy or to create some dark slant which only adds insult to the creative process. One such video by an artist who calls forth a fairy only to tear of her wings and legs is proof of the insult.
People are equally curious to stop and see creatures they have not readily seen too. So this might explain heir fantasy with the invisible world too. The mind may see an object bit interpret it to be something else. A miniature skeleton is shown atop to what may be interpreted as wings when they could be badly shaped leaves. The imagination can go wild and little does the inventor know, that to show just a glimpse of something ‘dead’ does not in itself prove anything. One would be so much more satisfied to have a glimpse at a live fairy. The same can be said for rare creatures that may have migrated to another continent and are unusual in shape, behavior and color, like what looks like a tusk bearing caterpillar in one video and a locust-looking insect captured on video between France and Spain. With imagination the ignorant viewer might just as well think that these are exceptional creatures and their fantasies might take off as they imagine all kinds of scenarios.
