Homeland: The new great drama of U.S. television not want to miss

Showtime drama comes to Channel 4 terrorism labyrinthine Sunday evening gown with impeccable service proudly Golden Globes for best drama and best actress (Claire Danes lead), and almost universal critical acclaim U.S. (New Yorker called "the star of the TV drama season").
Dane did his best work in years as a CIA agent Carrie Mathison, who suspects new POW Sergeant Nicholas Brody (Damian Lewis) may have been transformed by Al Qaeda during his eight years in prison. For the United States, is a war hero, the Danes, he is a person who should be kept under constant surveillance to prevent another terrorist attack 9/11-scale.
National stands out among a plethora of excellent performances, as it follows the current setting and welcome U.S. television on the complex and imperfect woman. Carrie drinks, no strings sex with strangers and approaches his work with the alarming obsession. He behaves unjustifiable high consequence situations - the series starts with corruption on their way to a prison in Baghdad, and then returned to the United States, 10 months later, during his last chance. Sometimes this neglect deems necessary and exciting, and beside her. But subtly intelligent, the program also creates moments when she completely throws our sympathies.
These emotions rebound and paranoia also given a back story that gives Patria original edge and great person. Carrie Brody is convinced that working for the enemy, we see flashbacks certainly suggest so. However, given its instability, can we believe everything he does? CIA and trust him? In the absence of light to take some of the uncertainty gives the spectacle breathless pace.
Besides its excellent distribution and characterization, it is a pleasure to be watching television address that he feels at the moment, and the country very well. There are obvious comparisons to be drawn with 24, because they deal with issues like national security - but is much more contemplative and sophisticated. Foreign policy implications are discussed and taken seriously, avoid the "torture cool," plowing Route 24 toward the end of his career. If Carrie is believing - and, of course, there would be no pleasure in knowing whether or not it should be at this point - then the villain of the series is one of the United States itself: a war hero turned traitor .
This is a sign that is a great and worthy adult thriller to settle in the next 12 weeks. I'm blogging after the show on Sunday - join us to share their opinions. And if you've seen the show, please be careful to leave spoilers in the comments below.
